The mission of the AAUW Educational Foundation is to provide funds to advance education, research and self-development for women and to foster equality and positive societal change.

The AAUW Educational Foundation - the world's largest source of funding exclusively for graduate women - supports aspiring scholars around the world, teachers and activists in local communities, women at critical stages of their career and those pursuing professions where women are underrepresented.

The commitment of AAUW members, other individuals, corporations and foundations that make contributions and help raise money for the Foundation's work is essential to the Foundation's ability to carry out its mission. The Foundation funds research, Fellowships and grants, special awards and symposia, roundtables and forums.

Consider sending a check to the Educational Foundation when you wish to honor or remember someone. Your contribution will help promote scholarships and research grants for women. A card will be sent in in your name to the person you have chosen to remember. Checks should be forwarded to:
